Why does Turbo tax keep filing a Schedule k-1?
A schedule k-1 was filed in 2012 for investment income from a partnership. The investment was sold in 2012. There was some carryover activity in 2013. Turbotax continues to file a K-1 and supporting forms even though there is no activity. Why?

Why does Turbo tax keep filing a Schedule k-1?
You may need to delete the related partnership so TurboTax no longer asks about it.
The easiest way to find this section of TurboTax is to use the Search box at the top right side of the TurboTax header. Click on the magnifying glass, type in "schedule k-1", and hit Enter. The first result should be "jump to schedule k-1". Click on this link to go directly to the input screen for this topic.
On the page titled "Tell Us About Your Schedules K-1", click Update to the right of "Partnerships/LLCs". On the next page, click "Delete" to the right of the partnership you need to remove (see screenshot below - click to enlarge).
