Why does latest NJ update not calculate other income exclusion?

We are not aware of an issue. If you are willing to help, a scrubbed version of your tax return - missing all of your personal information, would allow us to see what you are seeing if it is a program problem. To create this return:

If you are online, go to tax tools>tools > share file with agent > 6 digit number pops up.

If on desktop, go to online >send tax file to agent > number pops.

I have case # [phone number removed], INV # 17793 and had sent tax return with token # 931194 two days ago. Program will not calculate other income exclusion for NJ part year resident and part year nonresident. Program does not have equivalent to NJ Worksheet E which is used for other income exclusion for part year resident/nonresidents. You are ninth person contacted. I have no idea on status of investigation and have been unable to talk to anyone with expertise about NJ program to clearly explain what problem is. Thank you.

Nothing has changed. NJ program does not calculate other income exclusion for part year resident and part year nonresident. I have not heard a thing from TurboTax and have unable to talk to anyone who can solve this. I find this very frustrating. There is no way of knowing how many people are affected and TurboTax’s apparent lack of concern is mystifying.
