Why does it want me to jump to a higher cost program when I have one 1099MISC to enter for $1,630?

TurboTax has changed what is included in the Free Edition. If you have 1099-MISC income, you'll be required to upgrade to a paid edition in order to properly file. See the TurboTax FAQ below for more explanation.
