Oh no--did you really e-file it---was it accepted or rejected? The online program is ONLY for a 2019 return. You cannot use online for a 2018 tax return or enter a 2018 W-2 into the current online software.
If you did not e-file that is the good news--or you would have a big problem. The bad news is you have to start all over again and use the correct software if you need to file a 2018 tax return.
If you have 2019 income to enter into a 2019 tax return you can delete the 2018 income you entered and use the account for your 2019 return. Or you can abandon it.
Online preparation and e-filing for 2016, 2017 and 2018 is permanently closed.
To file a return for a prior tax year
If you need to prepare a return for 2016, 2017, or 2018 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign, and mail the return(s)
You may also want to explore purchasing the software from various retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s, etc.
Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Note: The desktop software you need to prepare the prior year return must be installed/downloaded to a full PC or Mac. It cannot be used on a mobile device.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.
If you want to print the paper forms and prepare them by hand to mail inL

Did you use the IRS non-filers website to register for the stimulus payment? If so then a 2019 tax return was effectively filed and you cannot e-file another 2019 tax return.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for how to proceed - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/stimulus-how-to-file-your-return-after-getting-rej...
Its 2018 tax returns i never filed but it put 2019 when i put the code from my w2
Do you mean that you tried to use the AGI or W-2 amount from the unfiled 2018 return on the 2019 program to file a 2019 return ? If so use a single ZERO for the 2018 AGI since the return was never filed. If that will not let you efile then you will have to mail in the return this year.
