Why do I owe $1129 in state taxes?

No one else can see your screen or your tax return so we do not know why you owe state tax. The usual reason would be that you did not have enough state tax withheld from your paychecks. But you should also double check your data entries and make sure you entered the amounts from your W-2(s) correctly for your state -- look carefully at what you entered from boxes 16 and 17, or what you may have entered from any sort of 1099's you entered.

And--print out your 2018 and 2019 state returns to compare them side by side--you may spot the difference.
