Note:  Every year, before mid-October, print a copy of your current year tax return and save it as a tax file and pdf, too.  That way you will have it when you need it for school, a loan, next year’s tax return, etc. without going through a lot of aggravation (and expense)  to get it.

When you use the FREE version the option to upgrade to PLUS (so you have access to the return past the October filing deadline) hits you at least 3 times and you had to say no each and every time ... so if you want access to the prior year returns AFTER the October filing status you must now upgrade to PLUS and pay the fee you choose to not pay before.
