why do i have to pay for another $139 to amend my tax. I thought as new user i get it for free now paying $300 for everything. this is too much.

There is no additional charges for an amended return unless you added features or were required to upgrade to a higher level product.

Are you in the same account that you did the original return? You don't need to start over. Has your original return been Accepted by the IRS and state? And you should not amend until the IRS is done processing the first return and you got the first refund or paid the tax due.
