Why do I get an error when adding a New York State Document id from my drivers license?

I correctly skipped the IDUSA.

If you are entering the whole number, this can cause rejection. Try to enter only the 3 first digits of your ID document. 

Also:

• Double check that you are not entering the expiration date on the issued date, and vice versa. 
• Make sure the date is entered in the following format (MM/DD/YYYY)
• Remove any extra spaces.

If you after those options you are still experiencing the issue, try to clear your Cache and Cookies and re enter your ID number.
