Why did i get charged $104.00 when the deluxe cost said $59.00 ?!

Did you also have a state return at 44.99?

Or did you choose to pay the Deluxe fee out of your Federal refund?  If so, that payment option has an additional 39.99 service fee (44.99 for California filers.)    That fee can be removed prior to filing (or if the efiled return rejects) and another payment method used.  We can tell you how, unless you have already filed.
