Why can't I pay my Turbo Tax fee with my return?

That option will become available when all of your forms are finalized. At that time you can choose to pay an extra $39.99 to pay your TurboTax fees from your federal refund.

Refund Processing, which allows you to pay for Turbo Tax fees out of your refund, will become available when all the forms are ready to be filed. Some federal forms do not yet have the IRS final draft available and then states do not finalize some of their forms until the federal ones are ready.
