Why can’t I pay with my refund right now?

I’m trying to finish my order and it’s trying to make me pay now. I want to pay with my refund

Until your return is ready to file that will not be an option in the FILE tab ... click on the Review tab to see what is holding you up and when they are expected to be ready.

This is likely due to the fact the the IRS has not opened e-filing. Until it does your return just sits on Tutbotax servers. When the IRS opens up later in January your return will be submitted. If it is approved then Turbotax will start processing the refund advance assuming you qualify.
