Why can>t I file my state return on paper? it takes me to efile and says I have to file on paper and keeps going back cant get to print state/

Yes, you can print and mail in your state return, you just have to change your answer to reflect that. 

 

 

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
2. Select State from the left-side menu, then State Review.
3. If any details come up, select Fix State and answer any questions that come up.
4. Continue into the File section. 
5. On the Just one more step screen, follow steps 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
6. Select the Start to the right of step 3.
7. On the Let's get ready to e-file screen, select  File by mail.
8. Follow the instructions to  print and mail your return.
