Why can't I click on "Required: double-click to select the form on which to report this income" from my 1099-k?

Why can't I click on "Required: double-click to select the form on which to report this income" from my 1099-k?

Can you clarify which version of TurboTax you are using and what screen you are on?

I am using the self employee.  I am on the review screen when it states I have an error that needs fixed.  But then also says on the next screen that a form is needed that isn't ready yet.  Not sure if that has to do with anything on the first screen or not.

It might, but not necessarily.  If you are getting a message that you have a form that is not ready yet, you can check Forms availability table for TurboTax individual (personal) tax products for updates to when the form should be available.

To correct your 1099-K error you can follow these steps in TurboTax Online Self-Employed:

  1. Open or continue your return
  2. Search for Schedule C and select the Jump to link in the search results
  3. Answer the questions about your business. On the Let's enter the income for your work screen, select Other self-employed income
    • If you’re returning to Schedule C, select Review or Edit next to your work and then answer the questions about your business
  4. On the Tell us about other self-employed income for your work screen, enter your 1099-K info
  5. Select Continue when finished

If you are entering income from a 1099-K, remember that it reports the gross amount of the transactions. It doesn't include any adjustments for credits, refunds, discounts, or fees. You’ll have a chance to enter self-employment expenses in another part of your return.
