Why am I showing a positive $73 in my stocks line when I am down around $1500 this year?

I expect that the answer is "you the capital gains reported on your income tax return comes from more than your own trading."  Capital gains can come from other places; common ones are distributions from mutual funds and information entered on a Schedule K-1.  Go look at your Schedule D where all your capital gains are collected together.
