Why am I not getting all of my paid taxes back as a refund if I'm married and filing separately because we are separated and I made less than $5,000 in 2018?

How much was withheld? How much are you getting back?

You only get back W2 box 2, not boxes 4 & 6. You probably knew that. Which lines look wrong on your return? You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901539-how-do-i-preview-my-turbotax-online-return-before-filing">...>

Ohhh I found the problem! I was calculating the SS and Medicare tax in the expected refund. Your question helped me realize that. Thanks!
