Why am I not getting a deduction of $1,850 if I'm over 65 years old, single and head of household?

AARP shows I should get a higher deduction than what Turbo is showing, yet there's not way to edit or get any help?!?!

Your standard deduction lowers your taxable income. The standard deduction makes some of your income “tax free.”  It is not a refund.  You will see your standard or itemized deduction amount on line 12 of your 2023 Form 1040.

2023 STANDARD DEDUCTION AMOUNTS

SINGLE $13,850  (65 or older/legally blind + $1850)

MARRIED FILING SEPARATELY $13,850  (65 or older/legally blind + $1500)

MARRIED FILING JOINTLY $27,700  (65+/legally blind) )  + $1500 per spouse

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD  $20,800 (65 or older/blind)  + $1850)

Your standard deduction is entered automatically when you enter your date of birth in My Info.    It uses your age at the end of 2023.

What is Turbo Tax showing?  On what line?  1040 line 12 is the Standard Deduction.  $1,850 is the extra amount you get for being over  65  for Single or for Head of Household.  It is added to the Standard Deduction on line 12.

If it is not showing the higher deduction on line 12 double check your birthdate under My Info.
