What is Turbo Tax showing? On what line? 1040 line 12 is the Standard Deduction. $1,850 is the extra amount you get for being over 65 for Single or for Head of Household. It is added to the Standard Deduction on line 12.
If it is not showing the higher deduction on line 12 double check your birthdate under My Info.
