Why am I being charged for the free filing this year. I’ve never had to play in the past so why am I being charged almost $70 this year?

Why am I being charged for the free filing this year. I’ve never had to play in the past so why am I being charged almost $70 this year?

Unless you have chosen add-ons or your tax situation requires long form 1040, TurboTax Free Edition is free for a limited time. Please see below for options to remove any add-ons that you may have accidentally added. 

You can also click on Tax Tools to the left, choose Tools, and when the box pops up, click My Fees to see what you are being charged for. 

Why am I being charged for TurboTax Free Edition?
