Why am I being assked to pay for Premium when I already paid for Deluxe

Why am I being asked to pay a Turbo Tax fee of $44.99 when I already bought the Deluxe CD?

That sounds the fee to buy a state program.  Do you need a second different state?  Or did you buy the Deluxe that doesn't come with a free state program download?  Where did you buy it?

Oh, for Premium.  If you are in California and want the state efile fee of 24.99 deducted from your federal refund you have to sign up for Premium 44.99.  Or you can pay the 24.99 with a credit card to avoid the extra charge.  Or you can print and mail state for free. 

Go back though the FILE tab and watch the screens closely.  Watch for this one.

44.99 is to buy a second state program download if you need to file a return in a different state.  
It is only 19.99 to efile a state return, 24.99 after March 1.
