Why am I asked to provide information on paying my federal tax when I am due a refund?

I am asked to schedule a payment but I am due a refund.  Why?

I provided the wrong number for tax withheld.  How can I change it?

If you didn't file your return, you can revisit the Federal Income section to make the corrections.

Federal and State taxes withheld must be entered on the federal return.

• Login to your account
• Select Federal from the left menu.
• Go to Wages and Income then Income and Expenses.
• Select Review next to Job (W-2) to adjust taxes withheld on your W-2.
• If it is on a different form (like a 1099-R or 1099-G), scroll down on Your Income and Expenses screen and Select Review next to the correct form.
