HI
1099-B contains most of the stock transactions, and I can see the form there under my account in Schwab but it just cannot be imported to turbotax. Hence, I had to type them all out, its very time consuming. Does anyone know why it cannot be imported?
thanks

It would be much more necessary to import this 1099B than something like 1099 INT
if you are seeing the numbers you are not at the right place.
for desktop versions of Turbotax go to the file tab select import enter Scwab as the company and follow the rest of the directions which will require you to log into you schwab account so do not be logged in when you try this
for online premier (lower versions do not have an import option) look for the line in the investment income section for 1099-B. look for the blue link that says "add investments"
I did all that and the 1099 INT is being imported, just not the 1099 B. I think there is a reason that this form is not imported, but I don't know why. Technical
