If you're using TurboTax for Desktop, you'll need to upgrade to TurboTax Home & Business in order to use TurboTax Quick Employer Forms (QEF), a service we offer to customers who use the TurboTax Business, TurboTax Premium Online, and TurboTax Home & Business for the current tax year. 

The service allows these users to create and e-file the following forms for employees or contractors. 

• W-2
• 1099-MISC
• 1099-INT
• 1099-DIV
• 1099-NEC

The user must purchase a current year copy of Business, Premium, or Home and Business to have access to the online functionality. The service is free to use with the purchase and may not be paid for independently of the product purchase.
