When you say no income, did she make $0 or did she have a loss?  Did she get a 1099Misc?  Is she the only LLC member? Was she actively in business or just setting it up?

She is the only LLC member.  She made no income.  She did some pro bono work for a local charity, but that's it

Otherwise, she was a full-time student and focused on her studies from the time she organized her LLC up to the end of the year

If she had no income and was not actually working in the business to make a profit as a single member LLC, then there would be nothing to enter.

ProBono work is not deductible other than expenses incurred, but that would only be deductible on your personal Schedule A as a donation if you are itemizing and it was for a qualified charitable organization. The cost of her services would not be deductible, but things like mileage and other expenses she may have incurred would be.
