We held a fundraising dinner for my son who was involved in a serious accident. Everything was donated for the dinner and tickets to the dinner were sold on Eventbrite. We received a payment from Eventbrite, but not a 1099-K. I'm assuming this money is taxable because they received a dinner in exchange for purchasing the ticket. Am I correct? Where do I enter this income in turbo tax? I am using the Premier 2023 addition. Thank you!

I just spoke with a turbo tax specialist on the phone and they said to enter it into the "Miscellaneous Income" section under "other reportable income" since I don't have a 1099-k. Then I could add deductions for my expenses if I had any, which I don't. Thanks so much 🙂
Thanks @tagteam for helping! My taxes are due Tuesday and I appreciate it so much!
