Where to enter business name for QBI form 8995

On form 8995 (Qualified Business Income Deduction - Simplified Computation) it's not showing anything on Line 1, unlike last year. In the corresponding TurboTax Easy Step I see "n/a" for the Business Name (see attached). On both the form and this section I'm unable to edit it directly (double-clicking on these areas does nothing). Where can I update the name?

If you have the desktop software, go to your Schedule C, and scroll down to line C - and type in the name of the business.   That will replace your name with the name you type there on Form 8995.

I did that just now (via Forms viewer), and saved it, but it's still showing n/a at the QBI Easy Step section and an empty Line 1 on form 8995.

Did you add the name to Schedule C Line C?   Whatever is on that field flows to 8995.  See images below.

Actually it seems my form 8995 is not even included in the PDF exports (including all forms & worksheets version) although an amount is referenced in form 1040 line 13... On form 8995 there's nothing until line 6 (Qualified REIT dividend and PTP income Smart Worksheet). This differs from last year when there was stuff above that on the form too.

Yes, I did, but it did not appear in 8995.

I'm actually going to leave it blank because this business didn't have a separate name last year (I started a single-member LLC earlier this year so this will be a change for tax year 2025), and it seems nothing is supposed to be entered there if it equals my name. It's just a discrepancy that in tax year 2023, line 1 on form 8995 had my name, SSN and QBI value in columns a-c, but this year those are blank.
