Where is the online menu to find updates so I can f e-file with the downloaded version of Home and Business ?updated

It's February 9 2026 and I'm trying to e-file with the downloaded version of TT Home and Business from Costco. The program says my "validation" failed when trying to transmit my return and I need to have the program updated from the "online menu". Where do I find this ?

In TurboTax Desktop there is a menu in the upper left hand area of the screen.  The menu options from left to right are: File, Edit, View, Tools, Online,  Help.  Click on "Online" then select "Check for Updates".  Click on OK to confirm saving your tax return.  The program will check for updates.  If that doesn't resolve your issue, then try this manual update:

1. Close TurboTax.
2. Select this link to download the update.
3. Open the file w_perrelsuperpatch... and install the manual update.

I got it, Dave. Thanks a lot. It was right in front of my nose and I didn't see it ! I showed it to my girl friend and she picked it right out. .
