where is the amount I owe or the refund in the app before I pay for the service ?

From within the app it should be on the very top section. If you are working in a section you will have to go back to home. See the images below for reference

• If your screen looks like this, hit the Home back button on the top

• After you go back home you will see your refund or amount owed at the top
