Where is my refund I clearly sent it out through mail so why it says I didn’t file ?

When did you mail it and which tax year was it for ?

April 18th 2022 and it was filing from 2021 for 2022 year.

Ok ... so you mailed in the 2021 return in 2022.  Good.  Now did you mail it into the correct address ?  Review the filing instructions in the PDF file of the return.   Did you mail it with some kind of tracking?

If you are sure the IRS got the return ...

Until the IRS opens the envelope and enters it in the system the IRS Where's My Refund tool will not recognise it and the IRS is taking as long as a year to process paper returns.

If you are NOT sure the return got there correctly then you can mail another copy now.

Going forward, efile if at all possible.   Since the 2021 return has not been processed yet then when you efile the 2022 return indicate your AGI was ZERO.  If zero doesn't work you will need to mail in the return again.
