Where is my exemption deduction for my wife and I

You can preview your 1040 to verify you are getting your dependent exemptions.  

In the top right hand corner, click on My Account >>> Tools >>> Tax Summary >>> Preview 1040.  On your 1040, look at line number 6a and 6b.  You should see a checkmark next you 'Yourself' and 'Spouse', and a '2' on the 'Boxes checked on 6a and 6b' line.  

**This answer is for tax returns prior to 2018.   The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act eliminated personal and dependent exemptions.  Note added 03/25/20.
