I discovered I owned more taxes after then I paid when I filed my extension. To avoid interest and penalties I made an extra payment using IRS Direct Pay in August, 2023 while I continued to work on completing my 2022 tax return before Oct 16th, 2023 deadline.
Where do I enter this additional payment in Turbotax so I can complete my tax return showing I don't owe any further tax payments?
Thanks.

Simply add it (combine it) to the extension payment you made.
To enter the amount you paid with an extension (including state extension) go to
Federal Taxes (or Personal for desktop H&B version)
Deductions and Credits
Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
Other Income Taxes - Click the Start or Update button
Next page second section Payments with Extension
Either Visit All or Click Start or Update by the extension you paid
When you made the payment on the IRS website, what did you select for the payment type? Estimated tax payment or payment for an extension?

I used "Balance Due" as reason for Payment.
