An Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend is entered as miscellaneous income not subject to self-employment tax, so it ends up on line 21 of your Form 1040. If you enter Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend in the Search Box in the upper right corner of the screen, it should take you to the correct location.

For a child, because dependents must file a tax return if they have unearned income greater than $1,050, every dependent who received the PFD will be required to file a tax return.  If that is the child’s only income, it can be reported on the parent’s return using Form 8814.

The Alaska PFD for 2016 is $1,022. So if the PFD is the child's only income, the child does not have to file a tax return and the child's PFD should not be reported anywhere.
