Where do you add severance pay from a company you worked for through a staffing agency if you did not receive a 1099?

If the severance pay was not reported to you on a 1099-MISC or Form W-2, you can enter it as "Other taxable income".

To make this entry

• Go to Less Common Income, Miscellaneous Income and Other reportable income (enter "other reportable income" in the Search Box and Select "Jump to other reportable income")
• Continue to the screen "Other Taxable Income". Enter the description as "Misc Severance Income". These are NOT wages.
