You can enter your state or local tax refund information by taking the following steps: 

1.) Federal

2.) Wages and Income

3.) Other Common Income

4.) Refunds received for state/local tax returns

TurboTax will ask you questions to determine if this entry is taxable. 

You only have to report your state or local tax refund that you received if you meet the qualifications below:
