Where do I input my spouse's 1099-R? I have the return as "Married Filing Jointly" but it only shows one person. The rest of the return asks about each spouse.

if your wife isn't showing on page one of the 1040 return under your name you have to add her in the personal info section. She is NOT a dependent so don't add her as one.

once you add her then you can go to the retirement section to add her 1099-R

also check that your filing status is married filing jointly.

When you click Add 1099R it will ask you by name which spouse has the 1099R.
