Where do i find the amount of state and local taxes paid? I'm trying to file a form8379 and i can't find the amount. What I'm looking at doesn't add up.

State and local taxes paid means what was on the W2s for state and local tax.

The number that's grayed out is the total of those taxes that you've already input, from W2s, or 1099s.  

On the W2 it's in boxes 17 and 19.
