Where do I enter the employer taxes I've already paid for nanny taxes?
If you filed those taxes as estimated tax to include on your tax return you can enter them by following the steps here.
As the employer of the nanny, follow these instructions to record the estimated tax payments if you sent in and plan to include it on your tax return and not through employer tax reporting:
- In the top right select My Account,
- Select Tools
- Select Topic Search (image attached)
- Search for nanny taxes and select GO
- Continue through the on-screen questions until you get to the Wages and Withholding screen.
- Continue answering the remaining questions that apply to your situation.
To record the estimated tax payments paid quarterly follow these steps (include with any other estimated tax payment).
- In the top right select My Account,
- Select Tools
- Select Topic Search (image attached)
- Search for estimated tax and select GO
- Enter your tax payments for federal and state
