Where do I enter taxes paid with estimated tax vouchers mailed to the IRS quarterly in 2025?

Has anyone sent estimated tax payments to the IRS and then entered the total paid on the federal return?

navigate to Deductions & Credits / Estimates and Other Taxes Paid to enter your Fed+State ES payments

If you are using TT, and using the Step-by-Step option, go to Federal Taxes, then choose Deductions & Credits then scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid. The rest is self-explanatory.

If you also made state estimated tax payments, there is a separate section for state taxes under State Taxes, then Deductions & Credits.

Estimated tax payments that you paid towards your 2025 federal or state taxes will be entered in the Deductions & Credits Section of TurboTax. Follow the instructions below:

1. Go to the Deductions & Credits Section 
2. Select Estimates and Other Income Taxes Paid
3. Select Start under  estimated tax payments
4. Select Start next to the type of estimated tax payments that you made. 

 For TurboTax Desktop:

1. Go to Federal Taxes
2.  Go to Deductions & Credits
3. Select Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
4. Select Start or Revisit next to the type of estimated tax payment you'd like to enter under Estimated Tax Payments.
