where can I report an error in the 2025 Turbotax Deluxe Desktop edition?

I began an amended return and enter the corrections. The correct refund amount shown on the 1040 form was correct. However the page 1 summary still indicated the original refund amount instead of the new correct amount. The percentage tax rate for the new correct amount was shown as correct. Just the amount to be refunded was incorrect in the amended return cover page 1 summary.

The 1040X has not been released yet, so the numbers won't be accurate until that form is finalized.   The 1040X is usually available at the end of Feb or beginning of March.

Thanks, a great support person called be back and explained that there really is no error since the IRS is not accepting "amended returns" until around February 18, 2026 which require using a 1040X form that TurboTax will supply/release on 02/18/2026 . And upon the TurboTax app receiving that updated form, then the correct refund amount will be shown then.  And consequently, one can e-file the newly amended form.
