If you wan to go back to this section and review your entries:

1. Go to the the Did you have any of these types of income? screen under Wages & Income
2. Select Yes, on the State and local tax refunds and other government payments screen
3. Select State or local income tax refunds even if not reported on Form 1099-G
4. Select Continue
5. On the Did you get a state or local tax refund in 2025? screen, select Yes
6. On the Tell us about the refund screen, enter your total refund received in 2025

You will need to enter information from your 2024 tax return.  

Where do I enter a 1099-G for a state or local tax refund?

If you are done with your return and you need to view or print your state tax refund worksheet as follows:

For TurboTax Online:

1. Open your return
2. Select Tax Tools then Print Center
3. Select Print, save or preview this year's return
4. Check the boxes to indicate your federal and state returns
5. Choose to include Government and TurboTax Worksheets
6. Click on "View or Print Forms"

In TurboTax Desktop:

1. Switch to Forms Mode by clicking on "Forms" in the blue bar at the top right of your screen
2. In your left panel scroll down to the bottom of your list of forms

Scroll down past the 1040 (Federal) section to the STATE section, look down the list to find "Tax Pymt Wks"
