Where are Schedule C expenses reflected in the federal return?

I have Schedule C business losses of about $6,000, but I don'tr see that relfected on my federal return? Where should I look?

Look at Line 12, Business income or (loss), to see your Schedule C amounts on your 1040.

Where are Schedule C expenses reflected in the federal return?

If your schedule C Net Profit/loss and 1040 line 12 shows zero.  Some expenses, such as home office or section 179 depreciation can only be used to reduce your schedule C taxable income to zero, and not to create a loss. Excess deductions for these carry over to the next year. Or you checked the box on 32b saying Some Investment is Not at Risk.
