So the SSBWksht just adds in the value of line 3b of the form 1040 into everything on line 3 of the SSBWksht, and that takes care of it.

And see the IRS worksheet in the 1040 instructions page 32. It doesn’t ask for line 3a, just 3b since 3a qualified Div are included in 3b.
