When you file your taxes on line do you have to pay $79.99 for federal, $44.99 for State and $39.99 to file. I'm confuse?

You will pay for the product you use for your federal tax return plus the cost for the state return and any add ons that you have selected. If you choose to have the fees deducted from your refund, there is a charge for that as well.
