When will turbo tax update so I can file my return?

When I try to file it says I should wait until it updates for the new bill passed for COVID relief

The updates for COVID relief should be in by now. In TurboTax online products, be sure to sign all the way out of TurboTax and clear your browser cache and cookies. Here is a link that may help if you need.

For TurboTax desktop versions, sign all the way out and once back in click the "Online" tab at the top left and select "Check for Updates" to get the latest.

DMarkM1's reply (@DMarkM1) is indicative of Intuit's misinformation and poor communication. While the software has been updated for the unemployment tax forgiveness, it's yet to be updated for PTC (Premium Tax Credits) for underpayment of ACA health insurance. As others have said in this overall forum, we can forgive Intuit for taking time (though not excessive) for changes due to complex legislation. Unforgivable is the atrocious and misleading communication.
