When will it be announced if PMI can be deducted for 2018 taxes?

The Mortgage Insurance deduction expired at the end of 2017. As of this date Congress has not renewed that deduction for tax year 2018. When or if Congress will renew any of the credits or deductions that expired at the end of 2017 is not known.
