When will IRS supposedly finalize some of the docs so I can file my taxes? The IRS website said the 23rd was going to be the opening for filing.

My filing status continues to show that IRS hasn't finalized some of the tax docs, what does that mean? According to the IRS.gov site, it says they are finalized. Why can't I submit?

Some federal forms do not yet have the IRS final draft available and then states do not finalize some of their forms until the federal ones are ready.  The federal form will need to be complete before the state return can be finalized.

Below are the expected release dates for the federal forms. When your federal forms are finalized, open Turbo Tax and Click on the Federal Taxes tab to open and finish your return.
