We anticipate the depreciation calculations within the software should be updated after February 13, 2026. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date. Please be aware that this update will affect depreciation for Schedule E (Rental Properties) only. Schedule C (Self-Employment) was updated previously and should be working in all versions of TurboTax.
I have the same problem for Turbo Tax Premier 2025. I have installed the patch and also uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software. The depreciation feature doesn't work. I get a message stating it's not ready yet. But in other areas Turbo Tax help is stating it is ready.
It's not ready in the online version either.

Finally, a response with actual information. Very frustrating trying to find anything other than vague and generic AI answers. I will calendar the date.
Any update on this? Has anyone been able to utilize this form on the desktop software yet?

Available AFTER February 13? When? I can do it manually. How can I input to TurboTax desktop?
You will need to wait until the updates are released to be sure your depreciation calculations conform to the new IRS rules. Manual entries will not circumvent the form hold for depreciation. These are IRS constraints. Please be reassured that our development team is working hard to release these updates as soon as possible.
Thanks for advising that manual input is not possible. However, that is NOT an IRS constraint. Please advise when your system will allow me to complete my return. Filing deadlines and penalties are US federal law “constraints”, that are enforced by the IRS.
After February 13, 2026 is rather unclear. How many days after?
Unfortunately I've already moved on to a cheaper and more updated service.
Thank you for helping me the last 10+ years.
Good morning. Can you confirm whether or not the Depreciation and Amortization forms will be available tomorrow (February 13th)?
This is already quite late. February 13th is pretty bad. After that is unacceptable
We are hoping by this weekend, if not before. We don't have a specific date.
