Please see this help article for instructions to upload a CSV of your crypto transactions. The article was just updated on January 26, 2026.
There are multiple ways to upload a CSV of your digital asset info into TurboTax, depending on your situation. You can import it directly, upload a gain/loss PDF, or upload a CSV of transactions.
All versions of turbotax file uploads under "add investments" have :
"Make sure it ends in .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .png"
There is literally no way to upload CVS files. It automatically fails. I don't understand how TurboTax had this feature since forever and for some reason this year it's magically gone. I and thousands of other people have paid CoinLedger, Coinbase, etc to create CVS files of gain/loss or transaction history AND TurboTax removed the option to upload this???
I don't need a guide. You guys need to FIX THIS asap. I will wait until the end of the month and if the option to upload CVS files isn't there, I'm leaving TurboTax for another tax service that actually works.
That article is outdated.
