You can. But if you want to enter it before February 18th you will have to type the data from the form in manually.
I can't enter the W2 in manually. I don't understand why I can't just click on add W2 and manually enter the data. What is wrong?
@mjr_sr@JBrady If you are receiving a maintenance notification, it sounds like you are trying to import, even if you don't realize you are doing so. Try these steps after deleting the W2 you have already recorded.
I am unable to manually type my W2 as well. I am under Federal Taxes and then wages/income. When I type the EIN, I get a message that says "Maintenance Notification from Intuit- W-2 import for this employer is unavailable in this product at this time. Please try again on Friday, 18 February 2022 at 09:00:00 PT"

On the screen with just the box to enter the employer's EIN, do not enter anything and click on Continue. This will take you to the screen where you can enter the W-2 manually, including the EIN.
