When reporting health insurance, do I need to fill in anything other than checking the box which months I was covered, for medicaid?

No, there's no additional information to enter if you were covered by Medicaid. 

You may receive a Form 1095-B for your Medicaid coverage, but you don't need this form to file your tax return. If you receive a 1095-B, store it with your tax records.
