When I was stepping through the questions, I was asked if I had any estimated tax payments, but was never asked what they were. How do I enter them?

If you made an estimated payment, you would enter the amount and date using the steps below.

Enter any federal, state, or local estimated tax payments you’ve made under 

• Deductions and Credits
• Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
• Estimated Tax Payments 

Your state and local tax payments are automatically transferred to your state return. We’ll also use them to determine whether you’d benefit from itemized deductions, instead of a standard deduction.
