When I started 2023 return, you gave me an option to transfer 2022 tax return data to 2023. I closed 2023 Turbo Tax, reopened it and don't see this choice now.

The transfer of 2022 in to 2023 has to be done at the very beginning before you enter any 2023 information.

The option to transfer the 2022 tax data to the 2023 tax return is only available when you start a new tax return, not after you started.

To have the 2022 tax data transferred you will need to clear your tax return and start over.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2023 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
